Good morning world!!!

It's a gorgeous Monday morning. Absolutely gorgeous!!!

There's all kinds of mornings right?

Ones that simply don't want you getting out of bed, the temptation to snuggle further into the covers is just too much, despite a whole work week that beckons...

Ones that aren't particularly sleepy, but have you keeping your eyes closed in a desperate attempt to avoid the world you don't want to face yet ...

Ones that you're delighted to wake up to ... 'school picnic' mornings, 'start of travel to exotic location' mornings, 'going back home from foreign country' mornings and such others ... wish there were more of these, don't we?

And ones that you're happy to wake up to simply cause the rain stands outside your window, gently nudging at first and then beating down its will upon yours with the furious vibration of windows, even closed ones. How can you say no to that, Monday or no Monday?

Its that kinda lovely morning now. As the MdDee's commercial would say, I'm louuuing it :D

Good morning everyone! Rise and shine!! :-)

I think the difference between your glorious morning and mine is that you get to see grass drenched in rain, while I get to see dark clouds behind the Novotel. If I overlooked Fort Canning, I could totally agree with you, but for now, this morning was just dark - I even had to turn on lights in my hall to iron my clothes, and that's something I NEVER do in the mornings... But the view from my office - now that's something else altogether :-)

Mine is a morning with packed thoughts, a time for introspection and like you said shut yourself from the world.

You have a good day

And then there are Mondays when you get off an overnight bus at 6 AM, your feet all cramped up from trying to fit into a space meant for someone smaller, walk bleary-eyed and gummy-mouthed from the bus-stop, catch a rick, get home at 6.30, flop on the bed, steal a couple of hours of shut-eye, get to work and stare at a monitor full of code someone else wrote ... and then you remember the wonderful weekend that went by, the book waiting for you in the evening, you lighten up, grit your teeth and get through the day.

Of course, Mondays are gorgeous :D

Hey,

thats a nice theme for a post- my Monday mornings are a bit tired, a bit sleepy, a bit lost. A bit nostalgic at the weekend that went by, a bit excited abt the week that will unfurl. A bit hectic as I shrug myself into action, and a bit relaxed as I still linger in the weekend mood.
