Coffee bytes ...

There's something to be said of a cup of coffee with its trademark bitterness.

Only one who can down it and enjoy it with that vile streak can actually know and love coffee as it is. The rest who try to sugar it down aren't really drinking coffee no?

I wonder how coffee feels about this ...

Can coffee feel?

Being one of the few who can relish and drink a double espresso shot without sugar or milk, I totally agree with you that black is how God meant coffee to be drunk! :) :)

Its just like asking the paanwala bhaiyya to make "meetha paan" or with "chuna kam" hehehe :)

Ever tried three double espressos in one evening? aaah.... the feel of it! :) hehehe

Sorry but I disagree. You are meant to get a sugar high as well as a coffee high and if possible, a chocolate high also. Therefore, sugar is necessary to enjoyment of coffee.

Ahem - to start with, did nobody see the profound metaphoric meaning of this post?

Viraj: I don't do coffee. Nopes. But i know ppl who do, and true blue fans swear by it black.

Penguin: U .. U .. YOU .. disappoint me ... unless of course your answer is metaphorical too .. and in that case well, if u can down the bitterness, the sweet and the chocolate will all come on their own .. you don't have to add

Dear PM,

Indeed. Our slogan as always will stay "Say NO to caffeine".

Additionally, I do hope you're living and breathing this as of today.

If not, then alasness much.

Regards,
Unpred

Nutty: Same here. Chai it is for me. But this is metaphorical!!!!

SIGH!

Dear Ms.Tic, Unpredictable,

I should have known that there was more to the post than its literal meaning. Alas, I was seized by a blind panic and my brain refused to think beyond the words on my screen. Also, I was at work, hence brain was a little preoccupied. Kindly excuse.

Yes, I am saying "No" to caffeine. Temptation came, but I beat it away with a big lathi.

Dear Ms. Tic,

For what specific purpose will you be requiring this lathi? General purpose lathis are not for connoisseurs such as ourselves. If you require one to battle away caffeine temptation, you may borrow mine.

Dear Unpred, PM and nutty,

To quote the learned Unpred "alasness much" :) My answer too was metaphorical.... and to extend it, I'd say, the only thing common to the two best things in life - chocolate and coffee is that they are both meant to be had dark and bitter :)

The latter is what enhances the craving for them...

But yes, add the sugar and make it palatable for everyone!

Dear Pm,

By the time that yuvar helpful and kind comment reached my inbox, I had in my hand a cup of steaming hot frothy vanilla latte (Shudder.. GASP!) which had been mostly ingested.

Clearly the coffee lathi will serve no use anymore. Alas. Other lathis will be requested as and when needed.

Caffeinated Regards,
Unpredictable, Ms. Tic

Viraj: Bravo - you seem to be the only one awake even without coffee (literal, not metaphorical). Many most kudoses and salutations to you. :)

I hate it when people tell me or neone else to "Just Be Yourself".

But when i enter starbucks and see all the varieties like mochachinno, cappuchinno, frappachinno, chocochinno, expresso,al pacino, etc
i like to say to the coffee:

"Hey man, just be yourself dude! This ain't cool."

Dear KP,

1st&4most, txverymuch for gracing my blog with your presence :D

2ndly, I'm sure all coffee's have their own identity, as Mr Black's cousins. But Mr. Black is the tr00est of them all. The original. The black.

3rdly, u did mean d00d and c00l? That's how I was taught to speak :D
